Using your new cardQuestions about Chip & PIN

With chip and PIN it will be an easy way to shop, pay bills or withdraw cash - so it's vital to remember your PIN. And make sure nobody else can use it.
  • Never write your PIN down.
  • Never tell anyone your PIN details including retail or bank staff. Keep it secret.
  • Never give your PIN when ordering goods or services by phone, post or online.
  • You should always be vigilant when entering your PIN.
  • If you forget your PIN then please call the Debit Card Customer Services Team on
    + 44 (0)1624 643643 and we'll send you a written reminder.
We will be sending you your new chip and PIN Debit Card as well as a new PIN early in 2005. When you phone us to activate your new card, you will no longer be able to use your old card or PIN. Until we send you a new card and PIN, continue using your existing card as you do now.
